Information Technology

The information technology (IT) department is the driving force behind cutting-edge innovation that has paved the way for Insight Global to become a $4+ billion company. With several groups across the department, including service desk, infrastructure, product, development and QA, information security and compliance, digital and IT project management, this integral team is responsible for our past and present digital transformation. This department is uniquely positioned to provide opportunities for the business to reach greater heights by continually seeking to improve the employee experience and overall effectiveness of operations. IT at Insight Global is defined by more than securing our enterprise infrastructure systems and developing bar-setting CRM systems; it is defined by nimble thinkers and problem-solvers who focus on what it really means to reach revolutionary success and unstoppable growth.

Information Technology

Operations

The operations department supports our consultants, clients, and internal employees through a variety of transactional and functional activities. Each department within operations, including compliance, payroll, revenue and security, serves a distinct function and important role in supporting the company’s day-to-day business activities. Given Insight Global’s rapid growth, the corporate teams work closely with each other to ensure that all transactions, communications, processes, and procedures related to our consultants, clients, and internal employees are aligned. In addition to supporting the transactional side of the business, the operations department also manages other large-scale projects for the company. The procurement, properties, and corporate events teams manage the company’s real estate / facilities, purchasing, and meeting and event-planning functions.

Legal

The legal department oversees all legal matters affecting the company and provides client-focused advice and support to other internal teams. In collaboration with other groups, the team identifies and implements risk mitigation strategies while also being mindful of the need to support the company’s continued growth. Groups affiliated with the legal department include contracts, requests for proposals, and account structure. Examples of matters regularly handled by the legal team include: labor and employment counseling, commercial, or employment-related litigation (including claims before various state and federal agencies), corporate administration and strategic transaction support, real estate, government contracting, compliance initiatives, and oversight of the company’s insurance program.

Accounting and Finance

The accounting and finance department is responsible for recording and reporting the accounting transactions of the company, including recording all sales, purchasing, payroll, fixed assets, debt, and tax elements necessary to produce the financial statements of the company. This is an opportunity to join a growing team and help manage the growth of a rapidly expanding private-equity-backed enterprise. The department is also responsible for budgeting and forecasting cash, profitability, and operating metrics along with financial statement consolidation and reporting. This is a high-visibility department with direct exposure to divisional leadership and corporate executives.

Talent Strategy

The Talent Strategy department is comprised of Human Resources, Insight Global University, Leadership Academy, Talent Acquisition and ESG. At the core of the Talent Strategy organization, each team ensures that Insight Global’s most important asset – it’s people – are being nurtured and supported throughout their employment. This starts with the Talent Acquisition team who is responsible for identifying, screening, and hiring all talent internally at Insight Global. Our training & development team at Insight Global University and Leadership Academy is focused on not only training but mentoring and serving all of our internal employees and helping take their career to the next level. Our ESG team who sets the standards for best business practices that relate to the good of the planet and society and lastly, our Human Resources team who supports all our employees with resources regarding benefits, policies, and tools to enhance the employee experience.
